Our Mission
The Deep Prep exists to make high-quality GATE exam practice freely accessible to every engineering student in India. We believe that the best way to crack GATE is to practice with real, official previous year question papers — under realistic exam conditions, with accurate scoring, and instant feedback.
Too many students waste time with outdated mock tests or pay for platforms that offer little more than a PDF. The Deep Prep gives you a browser-based exam simulator that mirrors the actual GATE interface: timer, question palette, mark-for-review, section switching, and detailed scoring — all for free.
What We Offer
- Official Previous Year Papers — Every question set is sourced directly from officially published GATE papers. No paraphrasing, no errors introduced by transcription.
- Realistic Exam Interface — The exam simulator replicates the GATE Computer Based Test (CBT) layout, so you practice under the same conditions you will face on exam day.
- All Question Types — MCQ (single correct), MSQ (multiple correct), and NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions are all supported, each with correct scoring rules applied.
- Instant Results and Analysis — After submission, see your score, section-wise breakdown, and review every question with the correct answer.
- LaTeX Math Rendering — Mathematical expressions, equations, and formulas render correctly using KaTeX — the same quality you see in textbooks.
- Completely Free — No registration, no subscription, no paywalls. Open the site, pick a paper, and start practicing.
Who Built This
The Deep Prep was built by a small team of engineers who went through the GATE preparation journey themselves and wanted a better practice tool than what was available. We noticed that most free resources either had poor question quality, broken math rendering, or did not replicate the actual exam interface. We built the platform we wished had existed when we were preparing.
We continue to add more subjects, more years, and more exams based on user feedback. If you have suggestions or find errors in any question, we want to hear from you.
